Privacy Notice
Pingu is offline-first. The diagnostics it runs are run by your device. There is no Lumpixel server in this product, no analytics SDK, and nothing is sent home.

Operator. The product is operated by Lumpixel LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (United States), registered with DUNS 144951637. Legal contact: legal@lumpixel.cc.
Effective date. 2026-05-09. We will revise this document as the product evolves; the effective date at the top of the page reflects the version you are reading.
This notice describes the Pingu iOS app. The app has no server-side counterpart operated by Lumpixel LLC.
02What we collect
Nothing is collected by Lumpixel LLC. The app does not call home, register devices, or report usage.
03What stays on your device
Diagnostic results — Ping samples, Traceroute hops, DNS lookups, IP resolves, port-scan output, Whois records, captured HTTP headers, SSL/TLS certificate details, and the rest — persist locally via SwiftData. They remain on your device until you clear them or delete the app.
04No analytics SDKs
Pingu contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK that phones home, no advertising identifier collection, and no tracking pixels. There is no third-party SDK in the app that uploads behavioural data.
05Network connections
The app contacts only the endpoints required to run the diagnostic you start. For example:
- Ping (ICMP) sends ICMP echo packets to the host you target via raw POSIX sockets.
- Traceroute sends UDP probes and listens for ICMP TTL-exceeded responses, hop by hop.
- HTTP Headers and SSL/TLS Check use
URLSessionorNWConnectionto the host you specify. - LAN Scanner and Wake on LAN operate on your local network only.
No diagnostic traffic is mirrored to Lumpixel LLC.
06Permissions
The app requests local network permission for LAN-side tools. iOS prompts you the first time. Granting it is required for LAN Scanner, Wake on LAN, and WiFi Info to function.
07Children
The product is not directed to children under 13.
08Changes
Material changes will update the effective date at the top of this page.
